To the Honorable Land Commissioners of the Hawaiian Islands, Greetings: I hereby state my claim for land and house at Kamaile, Waianae, Island of Oahu. It is bounded on the north by the land of Manu, on the east by the land of Ohule and the land of Kuheleloa and the land of Ohule /sic/ and the houses of Kalaluhi, on the west by Nakoalele and the land of Kanihoula and the land of Kealohi.

The second of my land claims in Kamaile, Waianae is bounded on the north by the land of Manu, on the east by the land of Keohokapu and the land of Nakoalele, on the south by the land of Maiele ma, on the west by the land of Piapoo.

My third claim is a house, at Kamaile in Waianae, bounded on the north by a kula, on the east by the land of Kahalehili, on the south by a beach, on the west by the houses of Nakoalele.

No. 9481, Kaluoku (court action), died in 1848.

Kihewa had come in the name of Hina, the wife and heir of Kaluoku.

Keoeiwa, sworn, he has seen his moo land, Kaiapo in Kamaile I in Waianae, Oahu.

Mauka, Kuaimoa, a moo land
Ewa, Kanekuakua koele
Makai, Huhuki, a moo land
Waianae, Kahihimanu koele.

Land from Kamomokuahi at the time of Liliha and Hina his (Kaluoku) wife inherited upon his death. He had lived peacefully during his life time.

The konohiki is now demanding for this moo land saying that he, as a konohiki should place a new tenant here.

Kuheleloa, sworn, he has known in the same way as Keaiwa.
