Greetings to the Land Commissioners: In the `ili of Kahana, Ahupua`a of Makaweli, island of Kauai, is a kihapai and a kula and a house, named Makole, and adjoining is a kula, named Kapalaau on the east side, the south side lies along the pali and the muliwai of Makaweli, and the land goes back to the place where the muliwai meets this pali and a promontory named Kahinahina.

It measures 16 chains on the north, along the steep pali of Kapau, 5 chains along the land of Kam ....
