I, the one whose name is below, hereby state to you, the Commissioners to quiet land titles that I have a claim for some lo`i within Mali's `ili, named Leponui, and some lo`i within Moohelaia's `ili, named Kiao, in Waikolu Ahupua`a, Island of Molokai. There are some witnesses.

1. 'Ili of Leponui. The length is 382 feet on the east by 18 feet on the north.
/2./ 'Ili of Kiao. The length is 176 feet on the west by 18 feet on the south, and 6 feet on the north.

Those are my claims.

Makai by Nakoa land &
Kalaupapa by the konohiki's land.

Claimant received this land from the konohiki (Pukeke) before the year 1845, and has held uninterrupted possession of it up to the present time.

Pukeke, sworn, Is konohiki of this land and confirms in full the testimony of the former witness.
