.... ed these lands from Puhau at the time Kuakini was governor at the fort of Honolulu. Kanaleleiki lived there until his death in 1848, and this place was bequested to Pelekane, his wife. She has always lived here to the present time without disputes.

Poomanu, sworn, I have seen this place of Kanaleleiki just as Pahua has related here I have no objections as assistant konohiki because this is his own land.
