To the Land Commissioners, greetings, from God: I, Keau, a Hawaiian subject, living in the Ahupua'a of Hanapepe, island of Kauai, have two lo'i and a house site. On the north is the lo'i of Apoholino on the east is the lo'i of Hooleki, on the southeast is the lo'i of Kelemoku, on the west is a pali.

Also, there is a house site. On the north is a kula, on the north east is a stream. On the southeast is the house of Meo, or the west is the kula of Kamano. I received this in the time of Kaikioewa and have had continuous and peaceful possession ....
