The Land Commissioners, greetings to you all: I hereby state my claim for land. I, Alihi, a Hawaiian subject, live at Kamohio, an `ili. 22 kuakua* are on the west, a pali and the house site are on /omitted/, on the east is a stream. The dimensions are not clear. When the time comes /it will be explained/. my right of occupancy was from Kaiona and has been held until the present, now under Kaulaloa.

Here are the names of the men who cultivate kihapais under me:

Makailio 5 kuakua
Paele 6 kuakua
Alihi 10 kuakua.
