Greetings to the Land Commissioners of the Hawaiian Islands: I hereby petition for my claims at Kapulena, in Hamakua, Hawaii. There are three house lots, one graveyard, one section of stream /valley/, which has three things in it - a bathing place, a place for drinking water and a pig enclosure. Five kihapai adjoin these house lots and the graveyard.

These very small claims are in one place, they are next to each other and not in separate places, therefore they are combined into one parcel in rectangu ....

Mauka by konohiki.

Kaaukai received this land through his wife by marriage.

Kaui, sworn, he has seen Kaaukai's house and potato kihapai in Kapulena and verifies the statements of Kalauinaia.
