Liliuokalani, By the Grace of God, Queen of the Hawaiian Islands The Hawaiian Government By this Her its Royal Patent, the Hawaiian Government makes known unto all men, that She it hath for herself, her heirs and successors, this day granted and given unto Mrs. Emma M. Nakuina for the consideration of Seven Hundred and Thirty ($730.x) Dollars paid into the Royal Exchequer, all that piece of Land situate at Poniohua 1, Kainalu, Kawaikapu and Kamanoni in the Island of Molokai, and described as follows:

No. 1. Portion of Poniohua 1.
Beginning at rock marked [up arrow] at North corner of Grant 2565, Apana 2 (Oopu), from which point Government Survey Station Puu Mano bears North 86° 28' 30” West, Honomuni Station South 35° 56' West and Waialua Sea Station South 85° 8' 30” East (all true bearings) thence the boundary runs by true bearings:
North 27° 42' West 682 feet up ridge along Waialua to marked rock +
North 32° 33' West 795 feet up ridge along Waialua to marked rock [up arrow]
North 38° 32' West 540 feet to rock marked + at East corner of Grant 2565, Apana 1, Oopa
South 49° 17' West 198 feet along Grant 2565, Apana 1, Oopa,
North 40° 58' West 858 feet along Grant 2565, Apana 1, Oopa,

To Have and to Hold the above granted Land in Fee Simple, unto the said Mrs. Emma M. Nakuina, her Heirs and Assigns forever.

In Witness Ourself at Honolulu, this Whereof the President of the Provisional Government of the Hawaiian Islands has hereto set his hand and caused the Great Seal of the Hawaiian Islands  to be hereunto affixed this 27th day of December, A.D. 1894,in the [blank] year of Our Reign.
