KALAKAUA, By the Grace of God, King of the Hawaiian Islands: By this His Royal Patent, makes known unto all men, that he has for himself, his heirs and successors, this day granted and given unto William Mutch, for the consideration of Eight Hundred and Twenty Two ($822.) Dollars, paid into the Royal Exchequer, all that piece of Land situate at Kaupo Hana in the Island of Maui and described as follows:
Lot 2. Puumaneoneo.
Beginning at a point on mauka side of main Government Road, directly South of the Northeast Angle of Grant 3380, Apana 3 (Kamakaokai), thence running by true bearings:
North 24° 50' East 1660 feet along Government Lot 17 to point, called “Keahu Hekili”
North 29° 00' East 16.15 feet along Government Lot 16 to West Angle of Grant 2849 (Aki)
North 38° 50' East 1295 feet along Grant 2849 (Aki) to Northwest Ang ....
