Royal Patent

Kamehameha III, By the Grace of God, King of the Hawaiian Islands, by this Royal Patent, makes known, unto all men, that he has for himself and his successors in office, this day granted and given, absolutely, in Fee Simple unto Ephraim W. Clark, his faithful and loyally disposed subject for the consideration of Seventy and six-tenths Dollars, paid into the Royal Exchequer, all that certain piece of Land situated at Paawa, Ewa in the Island of Oahu and described as follows:

Commencing at stake 4 1/10 Chains in a direction South 26° West from the makai West corner of the enclosed part of Punahou place by road, and running
North 59° West 7 Chains 4 7/12 feet along school house lot to corner of Huaka's lot, thence
North 19 1/2° East 2 Chains 38 feet along & to North corner of Huaka's lot, thence
North 71° West 22 1/2 fathoms along wall to East corner of Captain Meeks lot, thence
South 24° West 13 Chains 6 feet along Captain Meek's lot and to East corner of the Hana Holmes lot, thence
South 42° West 4 C ....
