This is a crown land. Preliminary and general information derived from Makalena &c. It lies near the Insane Asylum, Honolulu. There is a Survey of it by[left blank] in the Survey General's office. It appears to be of small size and to consist of remnants or perhaps Leles. It is said to adjoin land of a M. Butler of Lahaina. The name does not appear in the index of lands, but is found in the Civil Code as ½ Kawaiiki. Makalena says the real kamaainas are dead but that Kapukula ad loc. and Kapohaku at Kaumakapili are witnesses.
