Greetings to the Honorable Land Commissioners sitting at Hale Kauila: I hereby state my little claims for land and house.
The land claims are mauka of Apowale land, Kamanuwai in Kunawai, two little lo`i.
Another lo`i is mauka of another land, and also, another is makai of the makai lo`i. On the south is the lo`i of Hohopa, on the west is the lo` ....

.... lived peacefully and after his death, the land was transmitted to his wife but she has never done any work on it, therefore, someone else has had it for the past; three years.
Paieie died after the dark day on 7 August 1850.
Haumaleo, sworn, I have known in the same way as Paele has related.
