.... i. He received the land from Palupalu, the konohiki, in the time of Kinau, and he held it up to the time of his death about 1848. After his death the land fell to his sister, Kawelo, who held it till she died of small pox, last year. After her death it fell to her husband, Kanoa, who is lolo.
