Kalualanui, sworn, I know the lands of the claimant. They are in "Puehuehuiki," Lahaina. They consist of three pieces, two of which are kalo and one kalo and kula.
The claimant received these lands from Kaumaea in 1846. Kaumaea had them from Laahili a few years before but I can not say how many.
The first piece of 3 lois and 3 moos of kalo is bounded:
Mauka by "Kooka"
Olowalu by Laahili's land
Makai by the poalima land
Kaanapali by "Kuia."
The next of 4 lois is bounded:
Mauka by Laahili's land
Olowalu by Laahili and Opala's land
Makai by Laahili's lan ....

Kaapili, sworn, says he knows the pieces of land in dispute. Kaehekuikawaha was cultivating these patches in 1844. He got five patches from Puepue. I was present and heard the gift. He went regularly to the poalima labor. Claimant herself has cultivated some of the pieces since her husband's death. No one else has cultivated these pieces. I am the brother of Kanealoha.
Kauhi, sworn, says he knows the pieces of land in dispute. I know that when the food was ripe in the patches, claimant's husband took a portion of.
