I, the one whose name is below, hereby state my claim to you, the Land Commissioners: it is an `ili in the Ahupua`a of Honomuni on Molokai, and a kula, which is 216 fathoms in circumference.
It is bounded by Kahoiwale on the east, by Pilaliohe's land on the west. The konohikis have been Kamakaheikuli and Namilo. It has been held for 10 years.

Makaula, sworn, Ehu had left the place in 1848 and he has been living elsewhere to the present time. He has not been doing konohiki work, nor has he contributed to the taxes of the land to the present time. We went on the same day to turn over our claims to tho konohiki and we have been gone from the land since that day. We have deserted the land and it should be for the konohiki.
Kaaiahue, sworn, every statement made above is true, I have known in the same way. Decision in favor of the konohiki.
