Hear ye, ye Land Commissioners: I have a claim in an `ili in the Ahupua`a of Pelekunu, named Lanipuni. On the north it is 8 fathoms, on the south, 30 fathoms, on the east, 30 fathoms, on the west, 30 fathoms. I occupied this claim in the time of Kamehameha; the konohiki was Kaaeae, who is dead, and Kapuai is the present konohiki.
