Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I have a claim in an `ili in the Ahupua`a of Halawa on the Island of Molokai. The name of this `ili is Keau, and I have a mo`o on it, which is 133 fathoms long by 9 fathoms wide.

The land has been occupied from the time of my kupunas, and I am the survivor, and have cultivated it from the time I received it until this day. This claim has some taro lo`i and also a kula. I request that if this claim is found valid it be awarded to me.

the heirs of Uu in the name of Uu. He had a different land in the 'Ili of Puaalau 2; however he did not survey his own claim - he surveyed Mahi's.

I know the 2 apanas of taro and kula land at Keauhou, Halawa.

He received these apanas from Kuoha when Kinau was alive, and he /Kuoha/ had them from ancient times. He had quiet possession on these apanas until his death when they were inherited by his hoahanaus, and there, until this day, there has been no dispute.
