Hear ye, ye Land Commissioners: I have a claim in an `ili in the Ahupua`a of Pelekunu, named Kapapaiki. I occupied this claim in the time of Kamehameha III. It is 15 fathoms on the east, 10 fathoms on the west, 11 fathoms on the north and 12 fathoms on the south. In witness of this I sign my name below. The witnesses are Kuku and Lokomaikai.

.... hiki (Kapihi) in exchange for a piece of land he inherited from his parents, who had possession of it in the time of Kamehameha I. Claimant held uninterrupted possession of the land up to the time of his death in the year 1850 and his daughter after him up to the present time.
Kapihi, sworn, Is konohiki of this land and confirms in full the testimony of the former witness.
