Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I hereby explain my claim on the island of Kauai, in the `ili of Peekauai in Waimea, also a loko /lo`i/. On the south is Kapalama, on the east is the muliwai and the kula, on the north is Kiponaiki, on the west is Puuwahie. On the east it is perhaps 3 chains, on the west, perhaps 3 chains, on the south, perhaps 3 chains 1 fathoms, a total of 12 chains 5 fathoms perhaps. The name of that lo`i is Kapaekukui. A house lot is bound ....
