I have a claim for land in the Ahupua`a of Waialua by on the Island of Molokai. It is named Haokau.
My makuakane received it in the time of Kamehameha II. Piia was the ali'i who "ate" the Ahupua`a at that time, and Kanepueo was the konohiki. When the former ali'i, Piia, died, it was bequeathed to her kane, Laanui. Afterwards, the konohiki Kanepueo died and the stewardship passed to his kaikamahine, Keaumalahia, and the ali'i had it and Keaumalahia was the konohiki. When my makuakane died the land was bequeathed to me.
Not long after, Laanui was dispossessed and it passed to Kekauluohi. Keaumalahia was still the konohiki. Wh ....

.... time of the former konohiki (Namilo). It was a poalima kalo patch, witness worked on it as such for the konohiki (Namilo) till the time he was displaced, in the year 1842, 1843. Knows nothing of it since that time.

The konohiki has six patches here as his sustenance. Naio's claim was obtained at the time ofKamehameha I, no one has objected to him.
