Greetings to the Land Commissioners: In the `ili of Puulima in Makaweli on the island of Kauai is a lo`i and kula named Kamaluokukui. It was given by Kiokio, a Konohiki and I have held it until this time.
It is bounded as follows:
On the [north ] is Pehu, 3 chains 6 fathoms
On the east is the lo`i of Nawahaolelo, 1 chain 7 fathoms
On the south is Aka's lo`i, 3 chains 6 fathoms
On the west is the Muliwai of Waimea, 2 chains.
Also, in the `ili of Hakioa in Makaweli on the island of Kauai, is a house lot and another portion, named Kamalama, it was received from Kiokio in the same way as he gave me the /taro/ land.
It is bounded as follows: on the north is the Muliwai of Waimea, 14 chain ....
