Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I hereby petition you for my house lot which was secretly surveyed by the haole, Keaki, without my hearing of it. 11 feet of the lot have been taken by the haole. This is my petition to you, the commissioners to quiet land titles.

.... , John White did say that 11 feet of one corner is for him (White). I think John White's opinion is correct.
Kalaipaihala had received this place from his wife, Ulumeheihei, who is a hand maid of Nahienaena and they (the couple) have lived comfortably from 1839 to the present time. The argument with John White which had occurred in the year 1846 or 1847 probably is the only objection.
