Hear ye, ye Land Commissioners: I have a claim in an `ili in the Ahupua`a of Pelekunu on the Island of Molokai, named Papakea. It is 125 fathoms on the north, 9 fathoms on the south, 108 fathoms on the east and 109 fathoms on the west.
This is taro land and has been occupied from the time of Kamehameha III. It was given me by the konohiki, Kapuai. I request that if my claim is found valid it be awarded to me.
