Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I petition that you act quickly, because I have given you my claim. I have not been sent for until this day on which I am petitioning you. I wrote you the length and width and also gave Kalunaaina's claim - he was sent for, but I was not, therefore I ask you that I be sent for. I have two parcels to work on - mine and Kanoa, governor of Kauai - he gave me his to work on. It is in Honolulu on the island of Oahu in the boundary at Kapalama. ....

Pahua, sworn by the Word of God and stated, All of the statements which have been made here is what I have known; however, I did not see the acquiring of this land by Kaholo. He had possession of it during Kaholo's time. No one has objected to him.
