Hear ye, ye Land Commissioners: I hereby state my claim for land which was from Hoapili. I received this when Liholiho sailed for Oahu. On his death, I still had this land, and so also from Hoapili wahine, and when she was dying she told me to go to the Ali`i, and I went and spoke with him. The Ali`i told me to return to the land and live there and I did so. Afterwards, I was dispossessed from this claim which has been spoken of above, except for 8 lo`i and 1 dry pahu /no data/, 5 mo`o kula, 1 pauku of kula and 5 breadfruit trees.
