Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I, Kamanele, hereby state my land /claim/ in the Ahupua`a of Paeahi in Lahaina, Maui. My claim is founded on my kupunakanes occupation of this land. He was Palula, and is dead. I am the heir. The name of the witness is Hauola.
