To the Land Commissioners for land and house lots: I hereby petition you for my house lot which is occupied, in the land of Puehuehu in Lahaina.
Here is a diagram of the place which I occupy, ad its nature and dimensions and the total area contained therein, for your information.
The length of the sides is show in feet, and the length and the width is multiplied to get the square footage, that is its area.

Makaele, sworn, "Living there had been for 2 years. Living was with Manaulu, the wife of Nawaa. Everything was given to Puipui."
Lipi, sworn, Witness for Napuupahoehoe, "I have seen Napuupahoehoe he has done some work there. He did not live there continuously, it was for days or for a month after which he returned to Waikapu."
