Greetings to the land Commissioners: I, Kalaikini, am a resident on the Island of Maui.
I hereby present my /claim for/ my lo`is and my separate `ili at Puaalou in Ukumehame, four lo`i and four potato mo`o.
Two mo`o are in another `ili in the Ahupua`a, also two mo`o are in another separate `ili, this is the land of Makaike, an `ili, Kelawea, in Lahaina - the name of that `ili is Kumuniu. These lo`is and the mo`os and this `ili were received from Hoapili wahine in 1839. the witnesses are Da ....
