Claimant stated that his witnesses were in Oahu and Hamakua. He had a house lot in Lahaina for which he had witnesses.

The Lauhalas belonged to Anio and from him descended to the children of Map. Kekualele has no right to this place. His land is kalo land, and distinct form this. I am a kamaaina of "Kapoli"
Kapohaku, sworn, says he knows the Lauhalas in dispute. They belong to the children of Mapu. Kekualele has no right whatever to them.
