Hear ye, ye Land Commissioners: I have a claim in an 'ili in the Ahupua'a of Pelekunu on the Island of Molokai. Its name is Lahau, and it is 23 fathoms on the north, 32 fathoms on the south, 98 fathoms on the east and 98 fathoms on the west.
This is taro and kula land and also a mountain olona area. I occupied it in the reign of Kamehameha III ....
