I hereby petition you, the Land Commissioners, for the land Kanaina took. I will tell you how I obtained that land. I was a workman under Kekupuohi, from whom /I got/ my land. The witnesses to this are Kaaimunui, Kamakapelapela, Keaka, Puna. Hopili /sic./ detained me to live with him and build a house. Kekupuohi agreed that I should ....
