I, the one whose name is below, hereby state to you, the Commissioners to Quiet Land Titles, that I have an `ili in the Ahupua`a of Kupeke by Island of Molokai. The name of my `ili is Puina. It is 26 fathoms long by 14 wide. The konohiki who gave me this `ili is Kahaolekaukau.

.... and until his death, when the work and the po`alima days passed to Keo, the son-in-law of Nakumu ma. I do not know whether he was under the Konohiki or Nakumu. Keo planted taro, and he died, and the work and po`alima labor passed to Keoki, the brother of Kamaha, the mother of Keaupuni. He planted taro and it was all consumed by the Konohiki.
