To the Honorable Land Commissioners of the Hawaiian Islands, Greetings: I hereby state my claim for land to you. It is at Kalokoloa, Waimalu, Ewa, Island of Oahu and is bounded on the north by the land of Maluo, on the east by the land of Kane, on the south by the land of Kaawe, on the west by my kula and the Po`alima. I have occupied this land from the reign of Liholiho.
I am, respectfully, your obedient servant.
