To the Land Commissioners, Greetings: I hereby petition for my claim, an `ili in the land of Honokohau, named Iole. It is mine, and I will explain the boundaries: On the north and east is Keauhou, on the south is Kaiomouli, on the west is a pali and a boundary of Eeliikini. That is it for your information.
Furthermore, there are 6 lo`i in the `ili of Kapaukua, and from this place beyond, there are 12 lo`i. Those are all the places which I cultivate.
