To the Honorable Land Commissioners of the Hawaiian Islands, Greetings: I hereby state my claim for land and house. This land is at Paaiau, and one claim of the ali`i is in the middle of this mo`o. It is bounded on the north by the land of Kaiaka and Kuana, on the east by my houses, on the south by the land of Opunui, on the west by the land of Kuaana. My second claim is at Kahawai Land. It is bounded on the north by the land of Nawelo, on the east by a kula which is mine, as far as my cattle corral, on the south by the land of Paakahi, on the west by the muliwai. I occupied this land ....
