The Land Commissioners, Greetings: I hereby state my claim: I have one lo`i at Kaluaehuawa in Kaneohe, whose Konohiki is Kuaana. In the land of Puhalahua I have three lo`i, a house lot. I got these in the time when Kuana became the tax officer, the second of my claims. I got them in the year 1845. There is a hala tree.

Kailua, a brook.
Claimant's land is from Kuaana, the konohiki of Kaluaahuawa and from Puhalahua, the konohiki in the time of Liliha. No one has disturbed claimant till the year 1848, when Kuaana took the lois in Kaluaahuawa, because claimant did not pay the land tax that year. The claimant was willing to pay it, but it was a year of sickness & claimant was sick, but did not refuse to pay it. The land should go back to claimant.
