Land Patent No. S-8592 Issued In Confirmation of Land Commission Award

Whereas, the Board of Commissioners to quiet Land Titles, did, by its decision, award by Land Commission Award No. 7130, Apana 2 to Kinimaka, an estate of Freehold Less than Allodial in the land hereafter described, and

Whereas, application has been made to the Board of Land and Natural Resources by L. William J. Paris, Jr., claiming to be the present owner of said land for a Patent covering same, and

Whereas, the award was made by name only and a proper description was made by survey pursuant to Chapter 664, Hawaii Revised Statutes, and is on file with the Department of Land and Natural Resources, and

Whereas, there is commutation due and owing in the amount of Three Hundred One and 22/100 Dollars ($301.22), the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged; and

Whereas, the rights of native tenants were reserved in the award.

Now, Therefore, the State of Hawaii, in conformity with the laws of the State of Hawaii, by this Patent makes known to all men that it has this day granted and confirmed absolutely, in Fee Simple, unto Kinimaka, all the land situate at Maihi 1st in the District of North Kona, Island of Hawaii, State of Hawaii, bounded and described as follows:
