Land Patent No. S-8557 Issued in Confirmation of Land Commission Award.
Whereas, the Board of Commissioners to quiet Land Titles, did by its decision, award by Land Commission Award No. 8524-B, Part 3 to Peke, an estate of Freehold Less Than Allodial in the land hereinafter described, and
Whereas, application has been made to the Board of Land and Natural Resources by First Hawaiian Bank, claiming to be the present owner of a portion of said land for a Patent covering same, and
Whereas, this Award was made by name only and a proper description of survey of a portion thereof has been filed with the Department of Land and Natural Resources, and
Whereas, the Government Commutation due on that portion of said Award hereinafter described, including interest and statutory fee, amounting to Thirty-four and 44/100 Dollars ($34.44), has been paid at the Department of Land and Natural Resources,
Now, Therefore, the State of Hawaii, in conformity with the laws of the State of Hawaii, by this Patent makes ....

To Have and to Hold the above granted Land in Fee Simple absolute unto the said Peke, her heirs and assigns forever; subject, however to the rights and reservation herein set forth.
In Witness Whereof, the State of Hawaii has caused the Seal of the Department of Land and Natural Resources to be hereunto affixed and this Patent to be duly executed by the Director of Land and Natural Resources the Chairman and Member of the Board of Land and Natural Resources and countersigned by a member of the Board of Land and Natural Resources this Sixth day of August A.D. 1969.
