ISSUED
IN CONFIRMATION OF LAND COMMISSION AWARD
WHEREAS, by the Mahele of 1848, the King gave to KAHAHA, one-half (1/2) of the Ili of Pohakalawaia, also known as Pohakulawaia, and Huea, situate in Kalihi Valley, Kona, Oahu, which one-half (1/2) is said to contain approximately 140.84 acres, and
WHEREAS, the said Mahele was re-confirmed on June 16, 1862, by Mahele Award No. 56, issued in conformity with the laws of 1850, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners to Quiet Land Titles, did, by the decision, award, on March 30, 1855, by metes and bounds, Land Commission Award No. 5011 to Kahaha, covering five (5) parcels of the land of Pohakalawaia, also known as Pohakulawaia, and Huea, situate in Kalihi Valley aforesaid, containing approximately 91.34 acres, subject to Government commutation, and
WHEREAS, with the payment of Eighteen and 50 ....
