Hear ye, Ye Land Commissioners: I hereby state my claim for land. I, Ainui, have two `Ilis of land at Paeahu. Nena is the name of one and Hao is one. On the north of Nena is the `Ili of Paouou, on the east is the mountain, on the south is the `Ili of Kukulu, on the west is a kula unsuitable for cultivation.
On the north of Hao is the `Ili of Kumukahi, on the east is the mountain, on the south is the `Ili of Ainoa, on the west is the `Ili of Puupuunui. The witnesses are Ainoa and Kaneioholani.
Furthermore, one moku mau`u* is at Puupuunui. Also there are four moku mau`u ....
