Land Patent No. 8141 In Confirmation of Land Commission Award
Whereas, the Board of Commissioners to quiet land titles did by Land Commission Award No. 8525B award to Julia A. Kauwa, an estate of Freehold less than Allodial in the land hereafter described,
Whereas proper application has been made to the Commissioner of Public Lands by John F. Colburn for and on behalf of the Kapiolani Estate Limited for a Patent of the herein described land, and whereas a certificate of boundaries defining the same having been duly filed and the Government Commutation thereon amounting to Two Hundred Fifty-five 66/100 ($255 66/100) Dollars having been duly paid.
Therefore, the Governor of the Territory of Hawaii, in conformity with the Laws of the
United States of America and of the Territory of Hawaii, by this Patent makes known to all men that he has this day granted and confirmed absolutely, in Fee Simple, unto M. Julia A. Kauwa, all of th ....
