Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I hereby state my claim to you, to perpetuate /my right to/ my acre of sugar cane at Pohakuokauhi. There is a gobey fish stream at Kaohe, one section of stream, and a house lot and its surroundings.
I received it /the acre of sugar cane/ from B. Mahune. My section of stream was received from Lihi, who has died. My house lot which I occupy until this day, was from Holani.
