Royal Patent Upon Upon Confirmation of the Land Commission
Whereas, the Board of Commissioners to quiet Land Titles have by their decision awarded unto Moses Kekuaiwa, upon Kuleana Helu 7714B, Apana 7, an Estate of Freehold less than Allodial, in and to the Land hereafter described; and whereas Application was made to the Minister of the Interior for a Royal Patent for the lands hereinbelow described, And Whereas the Government Commutation thereon was relinquished by resolution of the Privy Council adopted the 27th day of August, A.D. 1850, and Whereas the Commission of Boundaries for the First Judicial Circuit did on the 16th day of June A.D. 1886 certify the true boundaries of said lands to be a are herein below set forth,
Therefore, Kalakaua, by the Grace of God, King of the Hawaiian Islands, by this Royal Patent, makes known to all men, that he has, for himself and for his successors in office, this day granted and given absolutely in Fee Simple, unto Moses Kekuaiwa all that those certain pieces of land situate at Kapalama and Kalihi Kona in the Island of Oahu, and described as follows:
