Whereas, the Board of Commissioners to quiet Land Titles have by their decision awarded unto William Pitt Lunalilo, L.C. Award 9971, Apana 14.
An estate of Freehold less than Allodial, in and to the land hereafter described, and whereas proper application having been made by Honorable Charles R. Bishop to the Minister of Interior, for a Royal Patent for the within described land, a certificate defining the boundaries of the same having been filed and the Government commutation thereon ....

To Have and to Hold the above granted Land in Fee Simple, unto the said William Pitt Lunalilo, [his] Heirs and Assigns forever, subject to taxes to be from time to time imposed by the Legislative Council, equally upon all Landed Property held in Fee Simple.
