Whereas, the Board of Commissioners to quiet Land Titles have by their decision awarded unto Hazaleleponi Kalama, Land Commission Award 4452 an estate of Freehold less than Allodial, in and to the land hereafter described, and whereas proper application having been made to the Minister of the Interior by Honorable W.G. Parke, administrator of Estate of Charles Kanaina for a Royal Patent for the within described land, a certificate defining the boundaries of the same having been filed and the Government Commutation thereon relinquished by an order o ....

.... ontaining 118 62/100 Acres, more or less; excepting and reserving to the Hawaiian Government, all mineral and metallic mines of every description;
To have and to hold the above granted Land in Fee Simple, unto the said Hazaleleponi Kalama, [her] Heirs and Assigns forever, subject to the taxes to be from time to time imposed by the Legislative Council, equally upon all Landed Property held in Fee Simple.
In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand, and caused the Great Seal of the Hawaiian Island to be affixed, this 29th day of May, 1879.
