I, Kau, have a mo`o in the `ili of Kapaloa, in the Ahupua`a of Mapulehu by Island of Molokai. It is 105 fathoms long by 70 fathoms wide and there is also a kula.
The former konohikis of my land have been Heulu, Pinaia, Kanae, and at present, Kamai. Aloha to you all, the Land Commissioners of the Hawaiian Islands.
