I hereby state my claim in Wailua. It was given me by Kaniho, the konohiki. This `Ili is Kaakee. However, Kapako was the former konohiki who gave it to me. This land was first transferred to me when Kamehameha I died. Afterwards this land went to someone else and my people were finished. At this time the land has been conveyed to me by the above konohiki. I desire to secure this land.
