Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I hereby state my claim for land to you. It was from my makuas who held it in the time when Kamehameha I was the ruler. It is now held by me in this time of Kamehameha III. Furthermore, I have a kihapai at Waipio of Ukake. I have another place at Honopou. At Mahonokala is another kihapai. Another kihapai is at Halawa.
A respectful farewell to you all.
