Royal Patent upon Confirmation of the Land Commission
Whereas, the Board of Commissioners to quiet Land Titles have by their decision awarded unto Eli Jones, No. 16 and 17, an estate of Freehold less than Allodial in and to the land hereafter described, and whereas it has been made to appear to the satisfaction of the Privy Council that all the interest, right and title of the said Eli Jones in and to said lots has been transferred to James Makee & Julius A. Anthon.
Therefore, Kamehameha, by the Grace of God, King of the Hawaiian Islands by this Royal Patent, makes known unto all men, that he has, for himself and his successors in office, this day granted and given Absolutely in Fee Simple, in consideration of the sum of One Hundred and Twenty five Dollars, paid to the Royal Exchequer unto James Makee and Julius A. Anthon all that those certain pieces of land situate at in the City of Honolulu, in the Island of Oahu, and described by surveyed boundaries, as follows:
