Upon Confirmation of the Land Commission
Whereas, the Board of Commissioners to Quiet Land titles have by their decision awarded unto William Walker a Life estate in and to the land hereafter described, & whereas it has been made to appear to the satisfaction of the King in Privy Council, that Charles Magnet purchased at Marshal's [? Marshall] Sale on the 25th of June 1849 all the interest Rights & Title of said William Walker in said land.
Therefore, Kamehameha, by the Grace of God, King of the Hawaiian Islands by this Royal Patent, makes known unto all men, that he has, for himself and his successors in office, this day granted and given Absolutely, in Fee Simple, unto the said Charles Magnet for the consideration of $10 Dollars paid into the Royal Exchequer all that certain piece of land situate at Ii [Oii] Koolau, in the Island of Oahu, and described in surveyed boundaries, as follows:
